Where to start
Bookkeeping is a universal pain point for spirited entrepreneurs pursuing their dreams. We do offer our services a la cart, but in most cases, we begin by taking on all bookkeeping related transaction processing. We then use this core data to perform our other key services such as financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and tax preparation. We are generally the primary point of contact with our clients' banking, tax, legal and insurance professionals and will help source these services where needed. We view our clients as partners and take as much pride in your success as we do our own. We are dedicated to helping you achieve your mission and vision.

Melissa Preisler
Co-FOUNDER
Passionate about improving company culture and building teams of people empowered to meet well understood goals and objectives, Melissa aims to amp up the juice in people as she believes this natural energy source is greatly undervalued for its potential to take a company to new heights. Since moving to Nashville in 2011, she’s put her passion to the pavement serving as a financial, operational and general business adviser within a diverse array of entrepreneurial companies. In doing so, she draws upon her fifteen years of experience at The Walt Disney Company where she held various leadership positions in the areas of foreign language dubbing and recording, production finance, DVD production and operations, and left the company as Vice President and CFO for The Disney Music Group. Melissa began her career as a Certified Public Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand LLP in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Inspired by great leaders and blessed to have experienced total team engagement throughout the majority of her career, Melissa is motivated to pay it forward. She thoroughly enjoys the process of meeting new people in new environments and learning about her clients’ industry specific business drivers and needs. Identifying improvements, efficiencies and creating clarity surrounding the workflow into and out of the accounting and reporting functions is her call to action.
Kristen Humphreys
Co-FOUNDER
Kristen believes her four years as a business manager for athletes and entertainers was the ideal foundation for the work she does today as the requirement for client service in this arena is bar none. The experience provided her with the training and discipline necessary for keeping track of a lot of moving parts like no other. Having been responsible for all aspects of accounting and reporting for her book of business, and for the actions of her staff, she became well versed in the accounting needs of small businesses. Wanting to expand upon this knowledge and better leverage her Masters Degree in Finance, she joined forces with Melissa with the ambition of broadening her exposure beyond the entertainment industry.
Kristen has a passion for shedding light on the scary unknowns that keep business owners up at night and she most enjoys building models which synthesize the fruits of her accounting efforts into concise and well understood stories.
